The Qur'an and Sunnah have confirmed their infallibility. Like his forefathers, Imam al-Jawad embodied all the lofty moral traits that qualify him for leadership. Although Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) lived for only 25 years—making his life the shortest among the Imams—his intellectual and spiritual legacy is rich and diverse. Peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he was martyred, and the day he will be resurrected.
