Most of us who are not native English speakers will never be able to speak like British or Americans.
It is something has to do with your brain cells and tongue ability to pronounce letters in combined form which is called a sentence.
So forget about seeking fluency in English and try to speak normal English.
Well, it is good to pronounce words as they are in perfect English but don't press your self so hard, otherwise you will hate the language.

The key for good understanding of the English language is to 1) Hear it 2) Practice it.

1) Hearing doesn’t mean listening! So try to hear normal conversation such as the ones in TV drama series, movies, and programmes.
Try not to look at the translation, and look only when you extremely need it.
I usually watch a lot of movies. I watch the movie first with the translation, I later watch it without it. This way helps me understand the words and revise their meanings for the second time.
It is not that easy I admit it. But the repetition is the key to help you memorise it.

2) Practicing it means speaking the language for now. We will leave the writing for later!
Try to speak English with your friends, if you feel shy, then speak to your self in front of the mirror.
Crazy?!... NO... you are practicing your language the right way.
Writing English is important too, but you mostly use English in verbal communication. So after you become good in it, you can later work on your writings.

Another tip for good English is to enrich your vocabulary asset. That means you write down or memorise as much as nouns and verbs you can.
Those will help you form a correct sentence.

Ex:
I watched a scary movie yesterday.
I watched a funny movie yesterday.
I watched an action movie yesterday.
I watched a Documentary movie yesterday.

From above you see that all the sentences were almost the same, but with different kind of movie!
So now you know scary means something would make you fear.
Funny, something makes you laugh.
Documentary, something based on facts or reports and history.

Now you can use the new words you learned as follows:
There was a wild dog running in the street. It was scary, I was scarred.
The monkey was jumping from a tree to another... it was funny.
I hope I made the picture clear for you.
Now we will need to pick up a topic to talk about. So we will be exchange thoughts and opinions about it. And by that way, you will learn new words that would come up during the conversation.
