    Salamun alaykum brothers and sisters

    I will-inshallah-be posting sayings from the last part of Nahj al-Balagha, the great book compiled by Al-Sharif ul-Radhi that contains sermons, letters and short sayings made by Imam Ali (a.s) throughout his life. Nahj al-Balagha is regarded - in our Scholar's estimation - as being next to the Qur'an in its richness, importance of its contents and the beauty of its phrases

    There are close to 500 sayings in that part of the book. All these are my own translations. In my work, I depended on the most popular; Sharh Nahj al-Balagha by Ibn-Abi Al-Hadid for the explanation of the different sayings
