حول حديث يوم الجمعة والذي ألقاه سماحة الشيخ حبيب الكاظمي
It is noticed in our time, in spite of the advanced luxury tools, that there is a big majority of people who live in a condition of inward emptiness, reflected as a case of boredom and weariness. Such people normally become very nervous and over react to life’s problems.
We believe that having this condition of weariness for a long time would lead to a case of deep rooted depression, despair, and hopelessness, when a man sees himself walking in a long dark tunnel. The harder he works in his life, the more tired he would be, just like a one who is chasing a mirage! The Holy Quran compares the movement of unbelievers with this non-real and deceiving movement!
One source of such a case is the absence of a clear plan and goal in life. Most people live for their very moment; to have their desires fulfilled in that moment, not caring about the future. So the first step to go out of this dilemma is to strengthen our ‘knowledge’ structure, and our vision about the universe. The Devine Wisdom, as exhibited in our school of thought, is the best guarantee to keep the individual away from this confusion.
The next step to acquire the right and clear vision about the existence, is the ‘practical’ endeavor to achieve the goal of our creation. Our talking here is directed to those who believe in The Wise God Who had created this existence for a high goal, taking it from nonsense to aimness. The worshipper should coordinate his movement in the life with the Will of The One Who possesses the fates of all human beings. The worshipper who will not prepare himself with a clear answer to the strict questioning in the Day of Judgment, will face a great loss and shame in front of all witnesses!
One of the sources of boredom and loss is mixing with neglectful and forgetful people! We cannot deny that most people live for their pleasures only. Being pleased among such neglectful people, would lead to God’s anger. Just like Almighty God loves people’s gathering on the good-doing, He hates gathering on the bad-doing. In addition, continuously living face to face with the falsehood would make it look right to us, as it is evident in the corrupted people.
Another source of boredom and loss is going far in having pleasures and enjoyment. It’s known that human soul, by continuous practicing some forms of pleasures, would be used to them and see no much attraction in them? An evidence for that is this endless changing of pleasures and jumping from one to another! All of this occurs when the conscience is satisfied with these forms, so how about when oneself commits some forms of disobedience which are against the human nature and pure sentiment? It is clear in this case that the fight between the instinctive motive and the faithful motive, will be another cause of preventing enjoiment!
Human nature is based on an inner structure, just like construction columns. If such a structure is not built in his life, the whole building would be weak and subject to collapse! No doubt every structure would end up with vanishing one day, except the ‘good word’ mentioned in the Holy Quran. Can that be anything else but monotheism and all its requirements?
If we believe that our soul is a Devine deposit, directly connected to Almighty God, we should recognize that this soul, like it had come from the un-seen world, would return back to Almighty God. If there is a forced return and a voluntary return, what a good thing to do voluntarily what we must do forcefully!
