Jesus Son of Mary & Mahdi Son of Fatima (s.a.)
Muslims have no doubt that Prophet Jesus (a.s.) will appear near the end of time primarily to save the Christian nation and to take revenge from the Jews, who did him injustice and oppressed his followers, and to establish the religion of Allah (SWT) on Earth.
Muslims also believe that Imam Mahdi (a.s.), a descendant and great grandson of Lady Fatima (s.a.), will also appear near the end of time, to eliminate tyranny and injustice, and to establish the pure religion of Islam on Earth. He will be joined by Prophet Jesus (a.s.) to deliver the people of Earth from tyranny and injustice and to guide them to right path.
Muslims believe in the Imam Mahdi (Mahdi Means the Guided One) the son of Lady Fatima (s.a.), who shall dill the Earth with justice and peace after it was filled with injustice and tyranny. This belief arose from prophetic tradtions which all Muslims agree to be true, like the saying of the Prophet (pbuh): " Of us, by Whom has my soul in His hand, is the Mahdi
(the Guided One ) of this nation who will fill the Earth with justice and peace as it was filled with injustice and tyranny. The Prophet (pbuh) said, " Al-Mahdi is of the ;ineage of Fatima". This is how Lady Mary is likened to Lady Fatima (s.a.). They both are mothers of the saviors, Jesus and AlMahdi (a.s.), who are united in aims, responsibility and religion. They are all servants of the One and only Allah (SWT).
