Iam , as a medical student I should correct this mistake .
Dear :
Medically , the tongue is not a muscle , but Anatomocally may be defined as :
MASS OF STRIATED MUSCLE COVERED WITH MUCOUS MEMBRANE
The muscles of the tongue is devided into 2 types :
3 INTRINSIC MUSCLES &
4 EXTRINSIC MUSCLES
THE TOTAL IS 7 MUSCLES
ALL OF THESE MUSCLES HAVE AN ORIGIN & AN INSETION SO , YOU make me mad , because you should be accurate ...
