I need your opinion please
This time I wanna to take your help . I think most of you heard about the British guy Sami Yusuf and his beautiful lyrics. I myself like to hear them such as allmuallim, mother and others.But my question is : is it right to hear such things? and what do you think about Sami himself? He is muslim and he sings for Islam but I need your opinion. please answer me.

I think we should consult our scolars in regard to hearing what he chants. What our scolars say in that regards is that if these lyrics are like songs they are phorbiden and muslims are not permitted to hear such lyrics. This what I know about the religious point of view
I have heard his lyrics several times, but i didnt like them. Maybe because my ears got used to hear latmyat; they are not used to hear these lyrics.
Even if he chants for Islam he shoulnt ecxeed the limits and he should have consulted muslim scolars in advance before chanting these lyrics
