Mubahela
The Prophet had visitors, some Christians from Najran
Who wished to learn the status, of Jesus in Qur'anThey claimed that Jesus, was indeed the son of God
To them said the Prophet, alone is the Lord
The Prophet turned to Adam, who had none of the parent
So why cannot Mary, be Issa's only parent
But the Christians were stubborn, and not ready to yield
Until God told the Prophet to meet them on the field
They had to come in open, with children and thier spouse
And so came the Prophet with people from his house
The claimants of right, on field standing strong
Shall then invoke a curse, to befell on the wrong
On the day of "Mubahela", the Prophet was present
His Ahlul-Bait with him, radiant like a crescent
When the leader of the Christians, saw the Holy Five
He had to tell his people, "we won't escape alive"
Alarmed by the faces which were shining so bright
They admitted defeat saying Prophet was right
In honour of the Ahlul-Bait, the leader of the Christian then said,
"If they tell these mountains, to move from their places
The moutains dare not, disobey these faces"
The Muslims have always, had a great lead
Mubahela for Muslims, is rejoiced as an Eid
