Imam Hussein's 18 year old son
Resembling the Prophet in every way
He rode the horse like king of the dayHe was known as Bani-Hashim's crescent
Appeared like, the Prophet was present
Tense with thirst, he begged his father
"a drop of water could take me further"
On battle ground he had no fear
Defended himself from front and rear
The enemies dare not come even near
Until he got struck by a spear
With bleeding heart, on ground he laid
Calling Imam to come to his aide
In eyes of Hussein, the world went dim
The loss of Ali Akber became a grim
