البحرين: توتر في الوضع العام إثر حملة اعتداءات واعتقالات عشوائية
لازال الوضع متوتراً في قرية بني جمرة -شمال غرب البحرين- حتى هذه اللحظة، حيث تطارد قوات الخاصة الملثمة الشاب "فاضل"، بعد محاصرة منزله بأعداد كبيرة ومنع أحد من التقرب من المنطقة. وهناك خشية على حياته، في ظل الطريقة التي جاءت بها قوات الأمن الخاصة الداعمة لجهاز المخبارات البحرينية، والحديث عن إعتداءات عشوائية لهذه الأجهزة في مناطق مختلفة في البحرين في الآونة الأخيرة.
تجدر الإشارة الى إنه في مساء يوم أمس الأول، وبعد إنتهاء إحتفال ديني في قرية بني جمرة، ظهرت بعض الأنشطة الإحتجاجية عبر إشعال النيران في بعض الأطارات في وسط الشارع المحاذي لغرب القرية. حضرت القوات الخاصة الملثمة، وازاحت الإطارات من وسط الشارع، وقامت مباشرة بمحاصرة الشباب الموجود بالقرب من الحادث، وأوسعتهم ضرباً بإحذيتهم الثقيلة وباستخدام الهراوات والعصي الكهربائية. وفيما تمكن الجميع من الفرار من قبضة قوات الأمن الخاصة، تم القبض على جعفر فردان سلمان يوسف (23 سنة) من قرية كرانة، حيث اجتمعوا عليه وضربوه ضرباً مبرحاً واقتادوه لسجن مركز أمن "البديع" والدماء تسيل من وجهه ومناطق أخرى في بدنه. كما نقل شاب من نفس القرية إلى أحد المستشفيات القريبة لتلقي العلاج من إصابات نتيجة الضرب المبرح الذي تعرض له على أيدي القوات الخاصة التي هجمت على المنطقة بالقرب من برادات "الساتر" غرب قرية بني جمرة.
وفي مساء أمس 16/2/2007- أي بعد يوم من إعتقال جعفر، تم اعتقال رضي علي القصاب (22 سنة) من قرية أبو صيبع- غرب العاصمة المنامة، بعد أن إنتظروا قدومه، وحاصروه ثم هجموا على المنزل واعتقلوه أمام ناظري أسرته، التي رأت بعينها الإعتداء الشرس عليه والضرب المبرح من قبل القوات الخاصة الملثمة قبل أن تقتاده لمركز الإعتقال في "البديع".
وفي نفس المساء، وفي سلوك مثير للريبة، قام عدد مدنيون ملثمون تساندهم القوات الخاصة بالإعتداء مساء على المواطن سعيد ابراهيم (32 سنة) من قرية "مروزان"- وهي قرية صغيرة تقع غرب قرية السنابس الواقعة 2 كيلومتر غرب العاصمة المنامة- دون سبب يذكر، حيث كان المجنى عليه متواجد مع والده داخل متجرهم الخاص ببيع المواد الغذائية. فقد قاموا بجره من داخل المتجر الى الشارع العام، وأوسعوه ضرباً حتى أسالوا دماءه ثم انطلقوا بعيداً عن المنطقة وتركوه بدمائه أمام أعين أسرته التي أخذته في الحال لأحد المستشفيات القريبة لتلقي العلاج اللازم.
تجدر الإشارة الى أن هذه الإعتقالات والإعتداءات العشوائية قد جاءت إثر تزايد موجة الإحتجاجات على محاصرة حرية التعبير وانتقاص الحريات العامة والتي تتوجت بحبس سجناء التعبير والمطبوعات الدكتور محمد سعيد السهلاوي (طبيب أسنان،35 سنة) وحسين عبدالعزيز الحبشي (موظف تأمين، 32 سنة) برغم من النداءات التي وجهتها منظمات حقوقية دولية وأخرى محلية لإطلاق سراحهما. وكان آخر تلك الإحتجاجات الإعتصام السلمي الذي عقد في منطقة توبلي الذي نتج عنه الإعتداء والضرب المبرح لستة من المواطنين أفرج عنهم بعد أمرت النيابة بحبس خمسة منهم لمدة أسبوع، وأفرجت عن السادس في اليوم الثاني من إعتقالهم.
من جانب آخر، فقد أستدعت السلطات البحرينية يوم الخميس الماضي 8/2/2007م المواطن صادق حسين جعفر (20 عاماً) من سكنة منطقة الجنبية لمحاكمته في القضية المعروفة بقضية "مجمع الدانة" والتي جاءت إثر الإحتجاجات الشعبية لبمعتقلي قضية الرأي والتي عرفت بقضية "مطار البحرين". تجدر الإشارة الى أنه صدر عفو ملكي عن جميع المشاركين في المسيرات والاعتصامات ومن بينهم قضية الموقوفين في مجمع الدانة يوم الأحد 24/9/2006م، الأمر الذي نتج عنه الإفراج عن جميع السجناء والمعتقلين والذين تجاوز عددهم 20. ولايعلم حقيقة الأسباب التي دعت سلطات الأمن البحرينية في إعادة فتح هذا الملف وفي هذا الوقت بالتحديد. ويتوقع أن يكون للإعتقالات والإعتداءات الأخيرة أثرها على إستقرار الوضع العام في البحرين، وتهيئة الأجواء لمزيد من الاضطرابات والمواجهات بين المحتجين والقوات البحرينية.
أما فيما يخص سجيني التعبير والمطبوعات- السهلاوي والحبشي، فلا زالت السلطات تماطل في موعد إستئناف الحكم الذي تقدم به محاميهما الذي تقدم به في خلال الأسبوع الأول من استلام حيثيات الحكم الذي صدر في 31 يناير الماضي. فيما طالبت منظمات ومؤسسات دولية معروفة بضرورة الإفراج عنهما دون قيد أو شرط، وفي مقدمتها منظمة هيومان رايتس وتش التي أعتبرت في بيانها الصادر بتاريخ 30 يناير 2007م "سجن إثنين من البحرينيين لمحاولة التعبير السلمي عن آرائهما السياسية ينتهك الحريات المكفولة بموجب الالتزامات الدولية للبحرين ودستور المملكة، وإن اضطهاد البحرين لحرية التعبير يسخر من عضويتها في مجلس الامم المتحدة لحقوق الانسان". كما ناشدت 49 منظمة حقوقية السلطات البحرينية بالإفراج عن السجينين واعتبرت ما قاما به، من نسخ لمطبوعة رأي، لا يخالف القوانين والأعراف والمواثيق.

Bahrain : Tension in the overall state of affairs amidst campaign of arbitrary assaults and arrests
The situation is still tense in the village of Bani Jamrah-north-west of Bahrain - until this moment, as masked special forces are chasing a young man, "Fadhel" after besieging his house in large numbers and preventing anybody coming closer from the region. There is fear for his life, in light of the way in which the security forces came in support for the Bahraini intelligent forces, and the news about their recent arbitrary attacks on different areas in Bahrain.
It should be noted that before yesterday evening and after a religious ceremony in the village of Bani Jamrah, some of the protest activities were observed by some blazed tires positioned in the middle of the street adjacent to the west of the village. Masked Special Forces swiftly attended the position, removed the burnt tires from the street, attacked the youths, near the incident, and beaten them with heavy boots, batons and electric stick. All were able to escape from the grip of security forces, except for Jaafar Fardan Salman Yusuf (23 years old) from the village of Karranah, who was arrested after severely beaten and dragged to security prison cell in "Budaiyya" Police Station. It was noted that blood was coming out of his face and other parts of his body. Furthermore, a young man, from Bani Jamrah, was taken to nearby hospital to receive treatment for injuries as a result of the beatings at the hands of the special forces attacked near "Al-Sater" groceries, west of the village.
Yesterday evening, February 16, a day after the arrest of Jaafar, another youngman, Radhi Al-Qassab (22 years old) from the village of Abu Saiba’-west of the capital Manama, was arrested after having waited for his arrival, surrounded his house and arrested him in front of his family, who saw vicious attack and the beatings on him by the masked special forces, before taking him to the detention center in "Budaiyya".
In the same evening, and in a suspicious behaviour, a number of security masked personals in civilians cloths, led by masked special forces ferociously attacked Saeed Ibrahim (32 years old), from "Marwazan" - a small village west of Sanabis, 2KM west of the capital Manama. Without any justification, he was dragged out of his family grocery shop, grounded and savagely beaten until blood came out of his head. The special forces then went away and left Ibrahim near his house before his family who took him immediately to a nearby hospital for the necessary treatment.
It should be noted that these arbitrary arrests and attacks came as a result of mounting wave of protests to the diminishing freedom of expression and public liberties culminated in the imprisonment of prisoners of expression and publication, Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al-Sahlawi(dentist, 35)and Hussain Abdulaziz Al-Hebshi (insurance employee, 32 years) despite appeals by human organizations calling for their release. The last of those protests was the peaceful sit-in near Tubli area, which resulted in assault and painful beatings of six citizens released after the Public Prosecution ordered five of them to be in custody for a week, and released the sixth in the second day of their arrest.
On the other hand, the Bahraini authorities summoned on last Thursday(February 8, 2007) Hussain Jaafar Sadeq (20 years) from “Janabeih” to be prosecuted in the case dubbed as as "Dana Mall", which was a consequent protest to the popular opinion case of ”Bahrain Airpot”. It should be noted that a royal pardon was issued on Sunday, September 24, 2006 for all those imprisoned, exceeding 20 individuals, as a result of marches and protests, including those of “Dana Mall”. Without knowing the reasons why the security authorities took measures in reopening this file at this time, in particular. It is expected that the arrests and the recent attacks will have an impact on the stability of the general situation in Bahrain, and will create a climate for further disturbances and clashes among the protesters and Bahraini forces.
With regard to the prisoners of expression and publications, Al-Sahlwi and Al- Hebshi, the Authorities are still procrastinating in the timing of the appeal session, put forward by their attorney the first week of the receipt of the verdict issued on last January 31st. Many international organizations and institutions found it necessity to release them unconditionally, at the forefront of which, Human Rights Watch that considered, in a statement issued on January 30, 2007, “The imprisonment of two Bahrainis for trying to express nonviolent political opinions violates freedoms guaranteed under Bahrain’s international obligations and the kingdom’s own constitution. Bahrain’s persecution of free expression makes a mockery of its membership in the UN Human Rights Council”. Also appealed by 49 human rights organizations, the Bahraini authorities was asked to release the prisoners and considered what they did, “was not a crime and is not a violation to the provisions of the law or the acceded charters.
