        ?What Does Tsunami Mean

In Japaneese tsunami mean "harbor wave". In written language it's represented by two characters: the top character "tsu" means harborr, the bottom one "nami" means wave. In the past general public called tsunamis "tidal waves". This term is a misnomer because tsunamis are unrelated to tides. Among scientific comunity, there was used the "seismic sea wave" term. It's also a misleading, because tsunamis can be also caused by a nonseismic event, such as a landslide or meteorite impact

Mausoleum of Malik Al-Ashtar in Cairo, Egypt

Malik al-Ashtar (r) hailed from Yemen and was amongst the Companions of the Prophet (s) and was also a devoted Shia and companion of Imam Ali (s). By disposition, he was fiercely and fearlessly brave, but humble to a fault. He was a brave commander who was sent to Egypt as a Governer (waly) by imam Ali (s), where he was deceptively poisoned by the enemies, and he died a death of a martyr in the year Hijri 30. the mausoleum lies in a district East of Cairo called as Qal'at Jabal al-Asfar. Today, it is looked after and maintained by the Ismaeli community there. The place is known as Masjid Sayid al-Ajami. Very few people know the name Malik al-Ashtar

                  Who Called it A Mouse

The coputer mouse got its name from its inventor Douglas Engelbert of Stanford University, California. He called it a mouse because the tail came out of the end, and patented his invention in 1970

Imam Husayn (s) shouted: O, followers of Abu Sufian! If you are godless and you do not dread the Day of Judgement, at least be free in his world and recall your ancestry, if you claim to be Arabs

                        ?What is Biometrics

Biometrics is the identification of a user based on a physical characteristic, such as a fingerprint, iris, face, voice or hand-writing. Costs of biometrics authentication systems have been dropping and reliability improving. Biometrics can be used with a smart card to authenticate the user. The user's biometric information is stored on a smart card, the card is placed in a reader, and a biometric scanner reads the information to match it against that on the card. This is a fast, accurate, and highly-secure form of user authentication
